Just a few short months ago, my family and I decided we would have a family reunion with everyone from my Father’s side of the family tree that all reside in various states across the country. While everyone showed up, we certainly would not have made it through this fun filled event without the use of an inflatable mattress.
It all began once we became aware that we did not have a sufficient amount of beds for all of our guests. Some of the relative opted to sleep in a nearby hotel, but some simply could not afford such an expense. For those family members, they would need to stay with another family close by. When conversing with my grandmother about the issue, she stated that this family reunion would only last but a couple of days. She did have a cot and my parents owned a larger sofa that was able to be used for sleeping accommodations, and even one pull out bed as well.
For me however, I did not have any of those elements to help out with guest crisis. One day while I was out shopping, I noticed an inflatable mattress for sale. I instantly realized how fitting this could come in handy for this occasion. It was a full size model and one that could easily sleep two adults. While it looked alright, I was concerned with the comfort of it. Judging by the picture on the packaging, it seemed ok and I went forward with the purchase. Just weeks later, the family members all started pouring in from all over the country. Everyone was so pleased to see one another, and with some of us not having any contact in years it really became a great idea to have this family reunion.
As the night grew long, two cousins of mine made arrangements to stay with me and began to inquire about the sleeping plan. I told them I had an inflatable air mattress and they were so pleased with that. They even knew how to fill it all up already. When it was inflated I sat on it to check it and seemed to be rather comfortable. My cousins had no issues sleeping on it during their visit either. The family time lasted around five days total. While we do plan on having another one next year, it was sad to see everyone go.
My cousins however, already stated they want to sleep on the inflatable mattress next time, so I am guessing that this purchase turned out to be an excellent choice for me! I would highly recommend this item to anyone that has a big family, someone with children or someone that simply enjoys camping as well.
